SALT LAKE CITY–After a bicycle accident he suffered in April of 2012, Dr. Stepehn R. Covey passed away this morning in his 80th year. He was surrounded by his wife, children and his children's spouses. He decided to impact the world as a teacher and made principle-centered leadership his life’s ambition. He successfully communicated his message to millions of people via books, live speaking engagements and audio recordings. In 1996, Time Magazine named him in their list of 25 Most Influential Americans. His best know book is the bestseller "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People", which sold more than 20 million copies in at least 40 languages.
